Yet another melted caravan

Reported via Android in the A badly damaged or burnt out vehicle on a public road category anonymously at 20:16, Tuesday 9 September 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8144002.

This is the third melted caravan that I've reported. How many have to blow up before someone dies? The council have been warned about the fire hazard all these caravans pose months ago.

Please tidy up the sharp debris and burnt carcus if yet another motorhome.

  • Still there and a hazard. If it was outside City Hall it would have been cleaned up by now!

  • Why is this still there? The council has a legal duty to remove this. Please confirm this will happen or provide contact details so that I can escalate the matter. It is dangerous and an eyesore.

  • Still here. Risk of causing serious injury due to debris. I am so saddened that the view of Bristol that will be seen by the student newcomers at their Freshers event, those who we wish to attract to stay and bring income and prosperity to Bristol, is totally monopolised on two sides by abandoned caravans, rubbish and this burnt mess. The view should be of the beautiful green spaces around the Downs which BCC say they wish to protect but are in fact allowing to be trashed.
