Significant raised paving in road

Reported via desktop in the Roads category anonymously at 08:53, Wednesday 24 September 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8206193.

Significant raised paving in road following relatively recent works. Severe trip hazard for pedestrians. Also presents danger to vehicles - i.e. risk of an accident and risk of damage to vehicles. It is also unsightly in the Conservation Area. Corner of Mornington Road and Wellington Park, opposite number 9. Severity noticed in recent weeks which indicates it is getting worse. We would be grateful if this was investigated and resolved. Thank you.

  • This problem has not been fixed. I understand it has been raised and plans are afoot to resolve it, as suggested in the report in this questionnaire "A job has been raised with contractors and appropriate repairs or maintenance will be undertaken as soon as they can"..The additional comments this week from the solar surveyor again highlight the issue and I hope the works will be expedited to avoid further accidents / damage to vehicles.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • We've investigated this enquiry and believe it relates to the same issue that we've seen via a separate enquiry and appropriate action has already been taken. For example, a job may have been raised with our contractors for repair or the issue is not the responsibility of Bristol City Council.
