Cars parking on pavement obstructing pedestrians

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 11:23, Wednesday 29 October 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8351684.

This issue has been going on for years but is getting worse. As a pedestrian, especially one in a wheelchair or with a pram, it’s frequently impossible to get through. Bollards need to be placed to keep the pavement clear for pedestrians.

  • This is getting worse. No easy way for pedestrians with a pram or a wheelchair to get from Alfred Place onto Montague Place without walking out into the road at a busy and potentially dangerous junction.
