Very uneven pavement/cycle surface

Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 09:24, Tue 4 November 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8373661.

Much of the pavement/shared cycle route is badly potholed and uneven on Bridge Valley Road between the Portway at the bottom and Ladies Mile/Clifton Down at the top. The worst area is in the middle.

It is a well used shared cycle route and it is made dangerous as passing over the potholed and uneven surface on such a steep and narrow pavement against fast moving traffic makes a fall more likely and more likely to be serious if it did happen.

There is also a trip hazard and it must be difficult manoeuvring a buggy over the terrain.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
