Huge lorries off Portway trying to come up Riverleaze, narrow street

Reported via desktop in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 11:07, Wednesday 5 November 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8379028.

Riverleaze should be blocked to large vehicles except emergency services. Huge lorries keep trying to come up here with cars parked either side and there just isn't space so they risk damaging cars and hurting pedestrians. We have a school right here. Please can we have width restriction signs at either end of the street and please could Google maps be updated to prohibit the route for large vehicles.
