Double yellow lines not repainted since resurfacing
Reported via desktop in the Road signage category anonymously at 21:50, Wed 19 November 2025
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8441628.
Area of road between the driveways of 2 Beachgrove Road and 31 Forest Road. The grass land to the right of 2 Beachgrove Road is used by residents at 4 Beachgrove road and 31, 33 and 35 Forest Road to access their garages off this area. There were double yellow lines on the road to the right of 2 Beachgrove Rd preventing parking. Since Beachgrove Road was resurfaced a few years ago no new double yellow lines have been painted on the road. There have been regular instances where cars have parked across the access to the grass land, or partially blocking both this lane and part of the driveway of 2 Beachgrove. Please can the double yellow lines be reinstated on the road to keep access clear, see my photos with drawn in lines.

I have recently found a photo of the previously painted double yellow lines in May 2021 before the road was resurfaced.

We've investigated this enquiry and believe it relates to the same issue that we've seen via a separate enquiry and appropriate action has already been taken. For example, a job may have been raised with our contractors for repair or the issue is not the responsibility of Bristol City Council.
