Teporary tarmac ramps causing a hazard on cycle lane A4

Reported via desktop in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 08:50, Thu 27 November 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8470861.

The roadworks on this stretch of the A4 are currently completed but the contractors have left two temporary tarmac ramps on the cycle lane which are hazardous in the dark. Their purpose was to allow cyclists to access the footpath when the cycle lane was closed. Could these be removed or the hazard marked please? Someone unawares could hit these on their cycle and easily loose control, putting them at grave risk. Apologies that I could not quite find the correct category but please pass this on to the correct office.
