Access/Egress from footbridge onto Petherbridge Road at
Reported via iOS in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 16:14, Sat 29 November 2025
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8480394.
The caravans parked on this road are making visibility for pedestrians and cyclists very difficult. One caravan has a towbar protruding out into the path at the end to d the footbridge, and this is a hazard as it cannot be seen easily in the dark. The caravans have parked far too close to the bridge exit. Exiting onto Petherbridge Way is extremely hazardous as you cannot see cars coming from either side (or cyclists/pedestrians). pedestrians cannot use the footpath because the vans have taken over and further up there are piles of rubbish also blocking the footpath. Please visit site and ask vans to move away from this busy junction.
