Uneven surface at end of works

The pavement has been re-covered up to this end and this has created a small step. This has caused me one cycle puncture already and is a hazard to anyone using the path (walkers, runners and cyclists), especially in the dark. If this was a road there would at least be a sign warning of an uneven surface.
