People spreading seeds on the ground for pigeons

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8564416.

People are repeatedly putting LARGE AMOUNTS of seed on the ground resulting in a huge flock of over 100 pigeons. These poo on the roof and it grows into jungles in the guttering of houses. It cost over £500 to clear ours recently and resulted in much interior damage. This MUST be encouraging rats which is a known reported probelm in the park. Can you please put up sugnange and support with "advice" to the miscreants and enforcement. I believe it is illegal to feed vermin species. or at least you may need a byelaw, but its a real problems to residents round here.

    This is all around the flats shown, the corner food shop opposite and at least 2 fast food outlets. You can see the gutters we had blocked 3 storeys up on a pedestrian crossng - very expensive to get cleared - and they are blocked again :-(
