Disintegration of tarmac

Reported via mobile in the Pothole large category anonymously at 14:47, Thu 18 December 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8565106.

Nearly the entire, hillside part of the, tarmac here is crumbling over at least 20m distance. In the area where cars stop to yield to oncoming traffic. There is a large and deep pothole/ depression that looks like a puddle when it rains. It is so deep it jolts the car if hit at any speed at all. As there are no traffic lights back here and so much traffic these days it's a real hazard. Likely to deteriorate very rapidly with any frost.
