Dangerous concealed uneven surface/concrete on road

Reported via mobile in the Uneven surface category anonymously at 18:18, Tue 23 December 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8586906.

Passage road Bristol (3 words ///urgent.steps.barn) is currently under road work and the old dual carriageway is merged into 2 single lane carriageway. The old central reservation has been partially removed leaving a short stretch of concrete approximately 5 metres long in situ. It is dangerously left without any warning of its existence to road users and in darkness, the concrete/pavement is blended in the background/road surface. There is no road marking/cones or signs to warn users. As I was driving along on the Sunday the 23/12/25 at approx 0100 hrs, I followed the road in the direction of the City centre from the direction of Cribbs causeway after the Crow lane round about. I saw a 2 ramp signs warning me of the sudden dips on the uneven road surface and following the second ramp signs warning, there was a cone and nothing further on, however the concrete continued for a few metres. To my unexpectedness, I clipped the concealed piece of concrete which was part of the old central reservation which is not clearly visible. The council/highway agency have not made it safe with clear warnings as explained above. This has damaged my front offside tyres. I have attached several photos for convenience
