Street light too bright and missing sheild

Good evening, The street light directly outside our bedroom is exceptionally bright and despite having adequate blinds/curtains it is incredibly bright at night time and disrupting our sleep. We would be grateful if this could be assessed and a less bright bulb used and a sheild fitted so that there is less glare directly into the house. Many thanks
