Commercial waste bins permanently stored on the pavement causing obstruction
Reported via desktop in the Other issue category anonymously at 09:41, Friday 2 January 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8614891.
Commercial waste bins are permanently stored on the public pavement at the Zetland Road / Cranbrook Road junction. This is not temporary presentation for collection. The bins obstruct the pavement daily, restrict access at a busy junction, block tactile paving, and force pedestrians into the carriageway. This appears to breach Bristol City Council commercial waste storage rules and highway obstruction legislation. Please investigate and take enforcement action.

Update: No change since my original report. Commercial bins remain permanently stored on the pavement at this junction, continuing to obstruct pedestrian access. New photos attached. A “No Fly Tipping” sign is present adjacent to the bins, underscoring the ongoing non-compliance.
