Huge amount of fly tipping by Co op in carpark

Reported via mobile in the Flytipping category anonymously at 15:03, Sunday 4 January 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8624390.

This is an ongoing fly tipping issue that needs to be stamped out, it's unsafe for people and wildlife and looks awful. This has been going on for years and all it takes is some catching and fines and people won't do it!

Updates

Reducing levels of fly tipping is important so please share any evidence of who is doing it with the council.

  • Update: this morning i saw a big rat climbing over a pile of children's toys, empty vodka bottles, clothes, cat litter.... its a public health hazard.

Please fix the CCTV camera, then you will get your evidence!

  • Some of the waste has been removed but there is still a large amount of used cat litter and nappies alongside clothes and toys, all around the bins and in the hedge. This needs to be completely removed, getting rid of part of it doesn't help as the people leaving waste feel empowered to do so again. This is a hazard to public health and to wildlife.
