Pavement is to narrow: Update to report 8484707
Reported via desktop in the Shrubs/Trees category anonymously at 10:45, Thursday 8 January 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8645990.
When walking along West Town Lane on the side of the sports centre, the path is so narrow that pedestrians have to walk in single file and are forced to stand in the busy road when someone is coming in the opposite direction. With children and parents heading to/from West Town Lane academy and BEC this is extremely dangerous. The hedges along the railing of the sports centre should be cut back to expand the pavement as this was instantly give more room to pedestrians. This issue has been reported multiple times in the last few years and nothing has been done.
