Pesistant traffic issues
Reported via mobile in the Request for works on my street category anonymously at 10:05, Wednesday 14 January 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8684961.
Talbot Road is overly used as a rat-run and has now tipped over into having become dangerous. Dangerous during peak times in the morning and evening, where the traffic has become gridlocked and the air and noise pollution is too high. Then during off-peak times, people are driving too fast - way above 20mph speed limit - and there are no deterents. The pavements are not wide enough in certain places to ensure pedestrian safety, and the road simply isn't wide enough to accommodate the traffic volume and speeds.
