This new crossing was supposed to have a bollard.
Reported via desktop in the Problem with BCC highway works undertaken category anonymously at 16:13, Thursday 15 January 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 8695578.
When this crossing was installed a couple of months ago, there was supposed to be a protective bollard to the left of the picture. I have since learnt that others have also complained the bollard wasn't delivered and have not had a response either. This was your reply when I first notified you. "We've investigated this query but have been unable to trace any issue that requires action.
If you believe that the issue still exists, please review the location/description provided and let us have further details to help identify where the problem is via an update on Fix My Street"
So, I'm reporting it again and asking you to check your correspondence with Mrs Acton Campbell.
