Light shines i to home

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8706828.

The street light shines directly into my living room and bedroom. I have to have blackout curtains for any darkness or privacy.

I request a shield put on to block the light from my property or for the pole to be turned 180 (although this will shift the problem to someone else)

This is the third request with no response. If I do not get any reply within 5 working days I have been advice to pay/complete the work and bill the council for the service.

P.s are the street lights intentionally designed to shine light horizontally? This seems light a poor design choice.
