Household waste and lots of bread
Reported via mobile in the Flytipping category anonymously at 09:57, Monday 19 January 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8717971.
Someone repeatedly flytips loads of naan/flat breads, perhaps wastage from the local Indian restaurant? There’s also lots of litter where there’s so much wildlife. It’s a disgusting eyesore for my front window every day, perhaps a sign should be erected?

Thank you for taking the time to report fly- tipping to Bristol City Council. We will aim to remove the fly- tip within 3 days, but this depends on its size, scale, location, or whether the fly tip is hazardous.
Reducing levels of fly tipping is important so please share any evidence of who is doing it with the council.
If you witnessed who fly-tipped the waste or have evidence (CCTV/photo) please call us on 01179222100, or submit this at https://digital.bristol.gov.uk/ streets-travel/ tell-us-about-a-fly-tipping-incident-you-saw #YourCity.YourCall

They’ve done it again. Heaps of mouldy flat breads dumped directly opposite my house. It’s every 3-4 weeks and attracts seagulls, rats and foxes. The grassy area running alongside the road up to Begbrook Primary School is getting worse and worse for litter. Then, the council maintenance people come along and shred everything up into tiny fragments with their mower, which are a then a hazard to wildlife and dogs. It’s such a shame for the children and families who have to walk past it each day. I’m not saying the grassy verge shouldn’t be kept tidy, but perhaps a “no tipping” sign and/or informative flyers through letterboxes on the estate, would educate and act as a deterrent?
