Damaged Slab / Driveway Causing Mud and Water Build-up

Reported via mobile in the Damaged slab category anonymously at 11:20, Tuesday 20 January 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8726987.

Subject: Request for Repair – Damaged Slab / Driveway Causing Mud and Water Build-up Dear Council Team, I would like to report damage to the slab/driveway at the front of the property. The surface is broken and uneven, which is causing significant mud and water pooling, especially during wet weather. This has made the area unsafe and difficult to use, with ongoing deterioration of the ground. The condition also contributes to excess moisture being tracked towards the property. Please could this area be inspected and repaired as soon as possible to prevent further damage and safety risks. Photos are attached for reference. Kind regards, Di Ye

  • Good afternoon, Since then we seen one bag of sand poured into the hole which was not making any difference. I wonder if there are further solutions to this?as we are having difficulties getting back into the house without getting very muddy. Regards, Di
