Hello. The drains still get blocked - floods across the whole road when it's rained heavily. Area on the corner of Hawthorne Street, Totterdown, junction with Balmain Street and Fordell Place. Reports of rats coming out of the drains too, so needs urgent attention. It's been like this for a long time now.
I received this from Wessex Water
Hi Neil Thanks for coming back to me. Looks like we found that the issue is due to the road gullies (the slatted cover drains that you could drop your keys down at the side of the road). The road also has a bad camber going to either side of the road. We would recommend contacting your local council to investigate further. You should be able to report an issue on their website here. If there is anything else I can help with, please don't hesitate to come back to me. Kind regards Kelly Partridge
