Tree roots causing dangerous pavement

Reported via desktop in the Uneven surface category anonymously at 10:14, Thursday 22 January 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8741476.

This section of pavement is dark and difficult to see the very uneven pavement. This caused me to go over on my ankle and fall onto the ground. I was lucky to only get a scrape on my knee. The pavement needs smoothing over urgently.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

  • To be clear the pavement next to the second tree down is where I twisted my ankle and fell flat on the ground. This should be the priority, although the pavement by the first tree is also bad.
