This flooding has been reported multiple times over multiple years and nothing is being done. The flooding completely covers the pavement and half the carriageway. It is a hazard to drive us and pedestrians alight. This issue is at the base of Pembroke Road and Queens Road this Junction and further up on Clifton Park. The drain has clearly not functioning please come and sort this out as a matter of urgency at some point somebody who’s gonna have to walk in the road and they will be injured.

This needs scheduled proper work. The 3 places along Pembroke Road from Queen’s Rd junction, including Richmond Park Rd and Clifton Park need digging up & replacing. If this had been recent it would be acceptable, but this has been chronic for over 40 years. The flooding is a major hazard to pedestrians & road users alike. Please get this on a schedule of works.

This is a chronic issue that has been around for at least 40 years. Yes I am old enough! This is the wholesale replacement of the drains that run along Pembroke Road from the corner of Queens Road right up to Clifton Park (inclusive). there are three corners that flood right across the carriageway , meaning that cars either have to drive through or manoeuvre around large bodies of water which is dangerous, not only for drivers but also other road users and pedestrians are like. This needs budgeting and repair work being done. It’s a major issue and it needs sorting.
