Builders storing material over 1.5 parking spaces plus skip
Reported via mobile in the Building materials category anonymously at 11:33, Monday 2 February 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8819740.
House on Falmouth rd is having building work, using rear access onto Cambridge Road but builders/landscapers are storing materials and rubble across 1.5 parking spaces PLUS a skip which is empty. Have raised this several times and was told it would be moved 2 weeks ago. The road and pavements are filthy. Parking is bad enough here without losing another 2.5 spaces.
I have reported this to the council already and had no response. It is also getting worse!

Have been informed that the skip belongs to the builders working at one house and they have council. Apparently the other materials on the road belong to landscapers working on the house next door. Neighbours have asked them about the mess and received unhelpful, defensive replies.

Landscapers removed the bags as instructed, with pavement being cleaned at completion of work. As work now completed, all remaining and future rubble plus parking obstructions, are due to work on 52 Falmouth Road.
