Fridge dumped on path between allotments

Reported via mobile in the Flytipping category anonymously at 13:13, Wednesday 11 February 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8893596.

Someone has dumped a fridge on the path between the allotments just off Crown Hill. This is a common area for rubbish but I have never seen an appliance dumped on the path before.

Updates

  • Thank you for taking the time to report fly- tipping to Bristol City Council. We will aim to remove the fly- tip within 3 days, but this depends on its size, scale, location, or whether the fly tip is hazardous.

Reducing levels of fly tipping is important so please share any evidence of who is doing it with the council.

If you witnessed who fly-tipped the waste or have evidence (CCTV/photo) please call us on 01179222100, or submit this at https://digital.bristol.gov.uk/ streets-travel/ tell-us-about-a-fly-tipping-incident-you-saw #YourCity.YourCall

  • This is still here, and has since rolled into the path. This is dangerous for walkers, children and dogs.

  • Action taken by local resident - Due to inside glass shelf shattering - risk to walkers , children and dogs - local resident has moved the fridge to top of path way on Crown hill - to be collected asap before additional glass shelving shatters on to pavement - thank you

  • Fridge has still not been collected. At top of lane where it meets crown hill and has been there so long that stinging nettles have grown all over it. This has been on this lane for over 3 months!!

  • Fridge is still at the top of the lane at the Crown Hill end. It has been here now for almost 5 months. Some residents moved it to the top months ago so that it did not block up the lane and was easier to pick up but no one has collected
