Missing yellow lines.

Reported via mobile in the Missing category anonymously at 07:29, Thursday 19 February 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8951870.

On 27/1/26 you closed a complaint relating to this matter as it was seen as ‘not urgent’. This has been the third time I have raised this issue over the last 3 years. This morning at 0700 I was wakened by a very irate tenant of the unit next door to our flat who was looking for the owner of a vehicle parked blocking the entrance to his store. For a moment I thought I was going to need to phone the police. He went on to stand in the street shouting at neighbours looking for the owner of the car, who I might add routinely flaunt parking restrictions. This is a direct cause of the missing yellow lines as motorists feel able to park freely on this part of the street. I have again spoken to parking wardens who cannot enforce restrictions without the correct signage. Far from being ‘not urgent’ this effects our daily lives including loss of sleep by my family. I am Apart from the noise and smoke pollution outside our bedroom windows we are now dealing with angry residents ! This is urgent !! The forthcoming road works will dig up more road surface. Surely it would not be too difficult to replace the yellow lines. I would ask again you treat this matter as urgent.
