London Plane tree unpruned and extending over property

Reported via desktop in the Low tree branches category anonymously at 17:35, Friday 20 February 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8965071.

This plane tree hasn’t been pruned for a number of years and has grown across the pavement and the entrance to my property. Since I am disabled and there are a number of steps into the property from the pavement, these have become green and slippery from the canopy of the tree, making it dangerous when I come in and out. The large leathery leaves are perfect to help with traffic pollution, but not when they extend onto my property! It then becomes a health hazard for me. Please could you prune this tree back to a reasonable span.
