Illegal Parking as double yellow lines removed.

Reported via mobile in the Missing category by Scott Butler at 10:19, Friday 27 February 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9009666.

Illegal parking is taking place over the last 2 weeks, as previous double yellow lines have been removed when water company dug up road to connect supply to new build. Parked cars have narrowed the road and made the corner blind wrt seeing on coming traffic. Cars are mounting the pavement to get by each other which is incredibly dangerous at Bishop Road school drop off and pick up. Double yellow need to be repainted

  • The issue has not been resolved. There were double yellow lines there previously. A single yellow lines has been painted instead, yet there is no signage on time limitations. Therefore cars are permanently parked there. With cars parked on this corner, the bend becomes blind, with cars mounting the pavement to avoid / pass each other; as per attached picture, taken 6pm 24th March 26. This is extremely dangerous considering this route is used by children walking to Bishop Road School.
