Crossing condition deteriorated

Reported via desktop in the Problem with BCC highway works undertaken category anonymously at 07:40, Sunday 29 March 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9204914.

The crossing of Clift House Road stopped prioritising pedestrians a few weeks ago, taking about a minute to operate the red traffic light. Now the ‘beg buttons’ are simply timing out and not letting pedestrians and cyclist cross at all! This is not all the time and has only happened to me while using the button nearest to the motor entrance to the garden centre. The button lights up then goes dark again, traffic is not shown a red.
