Speed limit sign too low (update to 8911746)
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9267202.
As you see from the photographs taken this afternoon, one of the speed limit signs at the junction of Parry's Lane and Cross Elms Lane is on the ground, not properly visible at the top of the pole. First reported on 13 February (ref 8911746), this was "referred to another team for action" on 27 February, but the sign is still on the ground and today's update says the case has been 'automatically closed'. Why? It hasn't been fixed.

It is now another three weeks since a new enquiry was raised for this apparently simple -to-solve problem, which was first reported on February 13 and then "automatically closed" with no practical action. It's been 11 days since the council stated that it was "under investigation". Does it really take that long to "investigate" how to fix a speed limit sign at the appropriate height on a pole?
