This is really dangerous as car drivers are unaware that a zebra crossing is here and fail to stop

The other zebra crossing on the other side of the roundabout was painted today. We asked the team to do this one as there have been several near misses with pedestrians being hit and drivers not slowing down.
They said they couldn’t without a job raised by BCC. This has been reported several times and closed with a message saying ‘part of a wider project’.
Does someone need to die or suffer life changing injuries before it’s repainted?
Photos show clear markings across Southmead Road and no markings outside Morrisons Daily on Wellington Hill West.
