Tree touching building - reported 22 months ago!

Reported via mobile in the Tree touching building category anonymously at 15:25, Sunday 26 April 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9356278.

I have previously reported this on report #6053304, report #6343253, and report #7004330 AND report #7286483 AND report #8198608. Unfortunately when the issue was investigated, the wrong tree was ordered for a contractor to cut back to 1 metre. However that tree/bush was not the issue. There is a willow tree that is causing root ingress and the branches are touching our home along with some holly. This tree most likely needs to be felled or cut back harshly especially because the root ingress. It is planted way too close to the building. The most recent report was closed saying that a job has been raised with "contractors to action this issue and appropriate repairs or maintenance will be undertaken as soon as they can". It has already been 7 months since then, so I am raising the issue here as there doesn't seem a way to contact the council. Access to the back garden will be necessary to ensure the property is not damaged during the felling of the tree. I’d appreciate it if this can be dealt with immediately as this issue was first reported in June 2024. Thank you
