Flooding

Reported via desktop in the Public safety category anonymously at 23:48, Sunday 26 April 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9358024.

However many millions you are spending on bridge repairs it would be great if you checked the work in all weathers. Walking from the south side of langton bridge, leaving the pavement at york road and travelling north you descend some steps...when it has or is raining at the bottom of the steps a large puddle forms which has no outlet for draining away so pedestrians are forced to step in it or jump across it. Also some of the mortar has fallen out between the paving on the bridge...these issues should be rectified BEFORE the contractor leaves the site... of course if the clerk of works went when it was raining they would see the puddle... the paving issue is visible any weather.
