This pot hole is getting bigger every day people driving past has clipped my wing mirror on my car just to try and avoid it stones keeps flicking up from it and can seriously hurt someone

This was reported on 16th March and I have just received a notification that it doesn't need any action. This is unacceptable. The pothole is now larger and as a responsible neighbour I have been brushing the stones that get scattered every time a car or deliver lorry drives over it back into the pothole. This is a matter of public safety - 1) a car could be damaged by the depth of the hole and 2) a passer-by or my car could be damaged by the stones that are sent flying out of the hole every time anytime a vehicle drives over it. Surely it would be more cost-effective to fix it rather than leave it for one of the inevitable outcomes above. I will now stop trying to delay the deterioration of the pothole and will leave you to face the financial consequences of inaction.
