Large Pothole outside of 86 Westover Road
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9416523.
This was reported on 16th March and the hole was subsequently marked with white chalk which I assumed meant it was going to be attended to. I have received notification today, May 7th, that the case has been closed no action is required. This is unacceptable. The hole is getting bigger and in an effort to be helpful to my neighbours I sweep loose stones back into the hole every day, trying to ensure it doesn't get too deep and damage cars. I am also concerned that this is a safety issue as when the stones are dislodged by passing cars/vans they shoot off in all directions and I'm worried that a passing pedestrian will get hit or my car, parked on my drive, will be damaged. Closing this case is ridiculous, the pothole clearly needs attention, and closing the case without a right of reply is undemocratic. If this pothole doesn't qualify for repair, what does!?
