Overgrown plants on Strawberry Lane footpath
Reported via desktop in the Shrubs/Trees category anonymously at 06:43, Saturday 9 May 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9424300.
There are several sections of the Strawberry Lane footpath with overgrown plants. The worse section is at the bottom of the path, near Crew's Hole Road, which is shown in the attached photos. This makes it difficult to walk on the path, and additionally it makes it difficult to spot the open manhole cover at the bottom of the path (reported open cover has been reported separately). There are some overgrown sections further up the path also. It has been like this for a long time.

We are not able to take action at this time due to the risk of disturbing nesting birds. We’ll deal with it as part of future works.
