Scaffolding obstructing public lane adjacent to 74 Kennard Road, creating a safety hazard.

Temporary scaffolding has been erected on the public lane/footpath directly adjacent to 74 Kennard Road.

Overgrown bushes on the opposite side of the lane, combined with the scaffolding, have compressed the path and made it nearly impassable for pedestrians, prams, and mobility scooters. Furthermore, there are open, exposed poles pointing directly into the lane with zero high-visibility padding or protection on them.

There is also no safety lighting or lanterns installed, making these exposed poles a severe collision and impalement hazard after dark. No visible Scafftag or inspection plate is present. This obstruction has been continuously present since mid-2025. Please investigate if a valid highway licence is held and ensure the hazard is removed.
