Speeding vehicles - Implement traffic calming
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 09:55, Wed 18 January 2017
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later
The amount of vehicles speeding up and down this road is ridiculous. The road is 20mph and most people do 30mph, some even more. Something needs to be done; speed bumps, chicanes or alike. This has been a problem for years and the problem is now worse with the diversion from the Hartcliffe Way as now more vehicles are travelling this way. There is a school right here(!) so something needs to be done before something terrible happens.

No change. People still doing well over the speed limit (one car just spotted doing at least 45mph). Nothing is being done...

Hi BCC. Please can you tell me what 'customer follow up' means? I've contacted the local police about the issue in the hope something gets done. It's a shame something wasn't done before the accident on Tuesday in which one of the cars involved was doing 50mph :/
