Nettles and thorns scratch and sting those using this footpath
Reported via mobile in the Shrubs/Trees category anonymously at 15:33, Friday 19 June 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9650978.
This has been an issue for months. Children and adults are getting stung and scratched by thorns and nettles. If nothing is done in 4 weeks, I'll do it and invoice the council. It's a health hazard and goes against Bristol's focus on more people walking and cycling

My 80 year old mother cannot access this path to go to the shops or bus stop . She recently scagged a pair of trousers on the thorns . I think I will have to take this up with my mp as you don’t seem to be doing anything about this issue .

We've referred the issue externally for appropriate action to be taken, as it's not something Bristol City Council is responsible for.
