Flytipping and alot more foot traffic dumping rubbish going from and to work

Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 21:01, Wed 25 January 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 965896.

Flytipping being done there on regular basis, being a biker myself I know quite a few that come home late at night and someone is going to end up hurt, rubbish being dumped on the roads, glass jars smashed on the roads with labels from yankee candle on, quite a few times ive taken a brush to sweep glass to one side, a lot of it is unavoidable by putting bollards at end of Lawrence Weston rd at merebank rd end as other end is already done but as usual been told by a council worker they've not got money to do it but surely the money it takes to clean up everyones rubbish it will pay for itself, theres even a gate at that end that you could put a post in and swing gate round to block of road, Theres really no need for anyone to drive down that road as nothing down there and if needed to get a vehicle down that way then the vehicle could use the road that joins Lawrence Weston road and kingsweston rd which goes pass a recycling centre which has a gate there, at least the traffic could be controlled that way simple and saves money in long run.
