Unused grit bin with solid contents obstructing pavement
Reported via mobile in the Empty category anonymously at 17:16, Tuesday 30 June 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9710448.
This grit bin been has been located outside my house for 25 years since I moved in and during that time has not been refilled or used to grit the road when there has been snow or ice. It’s about a third full of possibly solid salt and rubbish (it’s currently being used as a bin). I’m having my wall rebuilt and will be grateful if it can either be removed or possibly relocated which will free up space on a busy stretch of pavement for buggies and scooters users, close to a nursery and primary school. It doesn’t serve any useful purpose.
