  • It is deceiving to mark an issue as "FIXED" when actually the council has done nothing. Please treat the repair work as priority. Every single school day many parents and children suffer the misery of walking and driving on the road which is very dangerous. There is no parking elsewhere around the school and Barracks lane is a close road. I am sure you will reply as soon as possible.

    Regards

Can I please ask what are you investigating? I am reporting and updating your council for more than 3 months. Every single day parents and children suffer because of your slow response. It is responsibility of council to maintain and repair roads. Please suggest me to contact any other authority if you are unable to provide any solution. The photo attached is very clear that the road need repairs not your snail paced investigation.

  • I was told in February 2017 that Highways and Road department of The council have plans to repair the road in April 2017. No works were carried out in April 2017. Can I please ask why you dropped your repair plans in April 2017??? Parents and children face misery every day but your council is just giving false hopes.

Dear Bristol City Council, You posted in the morning that no action is required to fix the problem. I am surprised how you managed to update such a irresponsible status on the report. You Highway Department have agreed in a email to me that they have spotted at least one problem. Although I disagree as there are more than one bad patches which need repair but at least the highway department is not as irresponsible as you are in city hall. I reported the issue in early February and always believed that your council is looking to solve the problem. Today you disappointed me a lot. Public servants are not serving me or the people who use this road every day. I am forced to report the issue to Mayor as I believe the response from your side is not only sluggish but also ineffective . I am attaching few photos of the road which will help you understand why I am so unhappy.

  • Can you please provide any date? It is irresponsible to close the case without giving any reason and very arrogant not to provide any further action plan. I am not sure how you are a delivering a service.
