Grass has not been cut for months there are fire hydrants on the grass verge and these cannot be accessed by the fire brigade

The grass verges have not been cut for several months and are now excessively overgrown. The fire hydrant used by the fire brigade cannot be located because it is completely obscured by the long grass, creating an avoidable operational risk.

In addition, the overgrown verges are contributing to an increasing problem with dog walkers who are failing to pick up after their dogs. The long grass makes it easy for them to leave waste uncollected, resulting in a health and hygiene hazard for young children who play on the pavements alongside the verges.
