Unsafe junction

Reported via iOS in the Request for works on my street category anonymously at 08:25, Friday 10 July 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9763671.

I have had several close calls cycling along Howard Road at this junction with cars and cyclists not seeing me in broad daylight. At 7:25 10/06/2026 sadly I had a collision with a car who had not seen me and had gone across Howard Road at this crossroad. Yellow lines and stop signs are urgently needed to improve the safety of this junction, clearing cars to improve visibility and forcing oncoming traffic to stop not just give way.
