Damage to private section of road caused by work commissioned by Bristol City Council

Reported via mobile in the Depression in road category by Christina Leddra at 12:49, Saturday 18 July 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9807300.

Connor Construction Ltd carried out road repairs on behalf of Bristol City Council on the 8th & 9th July 2026. During this work, the construction equipment was manoeuvred, loaded and unloaded on the private section of road outside 25 Henleaze Park in which the road surface has been damaged by the tracked vehicles. This section of road is on the boundary between council and private road but has been damaged by the council commissioned work.

Residents regularly use mobility scooters and to walk across this section as it’s at the end of the public footpath.

Please can you come and access the road surface here and apply top surfacing to restore the road condition to a safe flat surface.

Please see the photos of the damage, but please be aware, it’s very uneven and the photos don’t show that well. Kind Regards,
