Bushes encroaching pavements

Reported via mobile in the Shrubs/Trees category anonymously at 22:14, Monday 20 July 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9818894.

Although I have reported this (quite a while ago!), today I noticed it’s half dealt with. But it’s absolutely not good enough. There are still huge hedges around Lindon close that take up half the pavement and also bow right out at the top so you can’t even walk upright without ducking sideways! Please can you ensure that as a council tax payer of £280 per month, I can walk my child to school without the risk of taking an eye out. I will continue to repot this until it has been dealt with properly and the hedges are completely trimmed back off the pavements. I will take it higher if needed, but I’m sure you will do the right thing, so that won’t be necessary.
