Heavy Vehicles

Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 18:36, Thu 16 February 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later

At the moment we have a one way system operating on Novers Hill and a maximum weight limit for lorries of 7.5 tonnes, but very large units are using the road which is both illegal and noisy and a danger to foot traffic. School children use this road daily walking unaccompanied. The speed of the traffic which should be 20 mph is a joke, I believe an accident is waiting to happen and if this traffic system is to carry on for at least 10 months something needs to be done to improve the problem.
