Tarmac pavement is sinky

The tarmac pavement is splitting and sinking below the dropped kerb of the driveway. The pavement has approximately 4 cms lower than the driveway. I have struggled for a while to avoid tripping as have been waiting for a hip replacement which I had 3 weeks ago. I believe this is not only a hazard to myself but to others who use this pavement. This has been happening over the years but has suddenly got much worse. Part of the crazy paving on the step leading to front door has also been affected.

    The gap between pavement and dropped driveway has got worse. Have seen several people tripping on this hazard.

  • A job has been raised with our contractors to action this issue and appropriate repairs or maintenance will be undertaken as soon as they can.
